Today's Agenda

Sustaining Ongoing Dialogue Among Mental Health Changemakers
25th October | 9am - 12pm | SICC Level 5

An introduction to Thrive Elevate — the platform, its purpose, and why Thrive Sabah 2025 was created as our flagship annual event. This segment sets the tone for the morning, outlining the goal of sustaining purposeful mental-health dialogue and collaboration across Sabah.

A facilitated sharing session where selected practitioners, educators, and professionals highlight their experiences running businesses, mental-health initiatives, or community-based programmes. The goal is to recognise existing efforts, reflect on challenges, and learn from one another.

Participants will identify and share what they can offer, as well as the kind of support they are seeking to strengthen and expand the work they are already doing. These inputs will be captured on the Wall of Collaboration — a visual map of opportunities for synergy and connection, helping everyone discover what others are working on and where future conversations can grow.

Once the wall is filled, we will bring it forward for an engaging collective exchange. Everyone will be invited to share briefly as participants explore one another’s expertise, discover collaboration ideas, and share short reflections on what they have discovered through the process.

Today’s agenda concludes with a summary of key insights and a brief recap of Thrive Elevate’s purpose — as a platform dedicated to organising and facilitating future collaborations, professional dialogues, and skill-based mental-health initiatives. We’ll stay in touch with participants via email for post-event updates and upcoming opportunities.

Planned as a full-day forum featuring keynote speakers and deeper sessions on mental health. It will be a ticketed event, and the theme is currently in development. We hope to welcome delegates from across Malaysia as we continue growing this platform into a space for shared learning and collaboration. If you’re interested in contributing as a keynote speaker or panelist — or if you wish to recommend someone whose work aligns with our goals — we’d love to hear from you. Please get in touch with us to explore possibilities.
